Skilled Migration

If you would like to settle and work in New Zealand, and your skills are currently in demand by the New Zealand government, you may apply for a New Zealand Skilled Migration visa. Assessment will be based on your age, education, work experience, English language proficiency and links with New Zealand.

General Requirements

  • Aged below 55 at the time of invitation

  • Occupation is in demand as per New Zealand’s Long Term Skill Shortage List

  • Attain at least 160 points in the New Zealand Skilled Migration Points Test

  • Pass the relevant qualification assessment

  • Provide evidence of proficient English or higher (if necessary)

  • Meet the health and character requirements

Visa Options

  • Applicant who apply via the New Zealand Skilled Migration will receive either one of the following visas,

  • New Zealand Residence Visa (NZRV)
